The hotel is also the first of the Marriott line to be built outside of the United States. The best panoramic views of Dubai can be seen in Vault Lounge on the 71st and 72nd floors or while soaking in the 7th floor swimming pool. Rooms rates start at $319 and each tower has presidential suites, 506 king rooms, 22 executive king rooms, 156 twin rooms, 118 corner suits, four rooms for disabled travelers.
At the grand opening of the hotel Marriott International president and chief executive officer Arne Sorenson, expressed that, ”Dubai is an important destination for Marriott International as one of the world’s most exciting cities offering world-class facilities and infrastructure, central location in the region and future growth potential.” The City certainly is growing up, literally reaching toward the ski with the record holding Burj Khalifa now framed in the windows of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai.
